COLUMBUS – The Ohio Mayors Alliance announced today that Todd Bradley, Ph.D. will be joining the organization as its new Policy Director. In this role, Bradley will support the policy priorities of the organization, with an immediate focus on police reform and building on the mayors’ efforts to support educational attainment.
“There are a wide variety of issues that are challenging our cities right now, which is why we are so thankful that Todd is joining our team,” said Ohio Mayors Alliance Executive Director Keary McCarthy. “Mayors play such an important role in Ohio’s policymaking landscape and Todd’s focus on police reform, educational attainment, and all of our policy priorities will be invaluable during these unprecedented times.”
Dr. Bradley comes to the Ohio Mayors Alliance from Indiana University Kokomo, where he served as an Associate Professor of Political Science for almost 20 years. He brings a unique perspective from his work with elected officials, nonprofits, interest groups, and local communities in domestic and international markets. Bradley’s depth and range of policy research will support the Ohio Mayors Alliance policy priorities.
“I’m very excited to take on this new role as policy director for the Ohio Mayors Alliance,” said Bradley. “The work our mayors are doing on the front lines is critically important. I look forward to digging in and supporting their efforts and the coalition’s policy priorities.”
