About the Committee
Mission of the Committee
To bring together mayors and superintendents in our cities to collaborate and foster shared learning on education-related issues and advocate for our cities’ young people in policy discussions.
Areas of Focus
- Promoting pathways to in-demand careers and preparing the workforce of our future
- Identifying areas of greater partnership to support our students during the summer and after school
- Enhancing civic learning and leadership opportunities to develop a more-informed citizenry
