Meetings & Events

For our year-end meeting, we welcomed several new members into our coalition, including the newly elected mayors of Cincinnati (Pureval), Cleveland (Bibb), Cleveland Heights (Seren), Dayton (Mims), Fairfield (Rhodus), Kettering (Lehner), and Lima (Smith).

The mayors met with several state leaders about our shared policy goals, including Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted, Auditor of Ohio Keith Faber, and JobsOhio President JP Nauseef. Additionally, the mayors met virtually with Senator Sherrod Brown and White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs Deputy Director Gabe Amo on the implementation of the American Rescue Plan funds in our cities and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

In addition to the meeting sessions, we hosted a press conference to introduce the new mayors to a statewide audience and announce our 2022 policy agenda. To close the event, we hosted a farewell luncheon to honor our outgoing mayors, many of who were instrumental to the founding of our organization, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley, Kettering Mayor Don Patterson, and Lima Mayor David Berger.
