Membership Meeting – June 2019

The mayors gathered in Columbus to discuss important topics for our cities, including economic development partnerships and transportation infrastructure. By discussing these issues with our state government partners and other important stakeholders, we can ensure we are improving our cities for everyone. We were joined by Lieutenant Governor of Ohio Jon Husted to discuss the DeWine administration’s policy priorities, including our shared priorities in the state budget, and his new role as Director of InnovateOhio. The organization approved the membership of Mayor Steve Patterson from the City of Athens and chair of the Mayors’ Partnership for Progress, bringing an important southeastern Ohio perspective to the group.
